World Mission Prayer Topics

1. Kazakhstan, Astana chapter: For the director David Byun and his Sunday message. The country passed a law to limit Christian activity. Our ministry is registered, but faces hardship. Our co-workers may stand firm. David Byun succeeded Peter Kim as a new coordinator for CIS. God may grant him strength and wisdom for his new role.
2. Germany, Köln 1 chapter: For the director Walter Nett. Five messengers take turn for Sunday message with Matthew: Rainer Wieland, Michael Pohl, Eberhard Gross, Knut Rohrmoser and Walter Nett. Walter Nett became the new European coordinator. For his stewardship and leadership. Thank God for using Peter Chang last four years as European Director.
3. Uganda, Makerere chapter: For the director Luke Lim and his message. Thanks for the joint Christmas service with Kyambogo chapter. 100 people attended. Many leaders participated in chorus, dance and drama. For John Jun who oversees the construction of Bethesda hospital.
4. Sri Lanka, Colombo chapter: For the director Barnabas Baek and his Sunday message. Thanks for the Christmas service Dec. 18, 2011 with the message: “The Horn of Salvation.” 80 people attended. Thanks for the new missionary Luke and Sarah Jun who serve the ministry sacrificially.
5. Canada, Humber chapter: For the director Paulus Cha and his Sunday message. The key verse for the New Year is Numbers 14:9. To serve God’s work with God’s spirit and by faith. For 40 1:1 bible studies and 30 Sunday attendants. To raise 12 Abraham & 12 Mary and 120 sheep from Humber & UTM campuses
6. Guatemala, Guatemala chapter: For the director Josue Ham and his wife Ana Ham. Thanks for the Christmas service. 130 people attended the service. Thanks for Marcos Nam who worked hard throughout the year. Praise God who blessed Sarah A. Han to enter Guatemala West Point Military Academy.


Special Prayer Topics

1. For missionary family John & Maria Peace in Podil, Ukraine. For their four children: Maria, Christy, Sarah and John Peace. For 20 attendants to the worship service.
2. For the Latin America Directors conference on Jan. 25-27, 2012 with the theme: Explore the Promised Land. Thanks for Elisa Park who hosts this conference in St. Paulo, Brazil.
