49. Baby Evelyn Dajung Hajek was born! (11/17/10)

Dear Servants in Christ, How are you? It is with great thanks and praise that I would like to give thanks to God for his kind amazing grace and the gift of new life. Evelyn Dajung Hajek was born Wednesday afternoon 3:28 weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces - 21 inches. Our prayer topic is that she may be like Eve - and the be a prayer mother and mother of all the living for this generation. Mother and baby are well. At this time I think about King David's words in 2 Samuel 7:18-19, "Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: “Who am I, O Sovereign LORD, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? And as if this were not enough in your sight, O Sovereign LORD, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant. Is this your usual way of dealing with man, O Sovereign LORD?" Why was my family granted good healthy and beautiful baby? Nothing because of anything I have done; but only the one-sided grace of the good Lord, and for his purpose to use my family and this newborn baby to bring many souls to saving faith in Jesus Christ. 18. 2009 Dupage Easter Bible Conference

2009 DuPage UBF Easter Bible School Report by Shepherdess Hannah Kim Jesus! My Lord and My God! This past weekend on April 9th-April 12th, Dupage ministry held a wonderful Easter Bible School based on Johnís gospel. By Godís grace and mercy he blessed us with his Holy Spirit and words through messengers, Shp. Hannah Kim, Msn. David Kim, Shp. Jeremy Hajek, and Msn. Gideon Bahn. Through Shp. Hannah Kimís message on John 4:1-30, we were able to accept Jesusí invitation to be satisfied by Jesusí living water instead of the perishing things of the world and to leave our sinful lives behind and worship the true God. Msn. David Kimís message on John 5:1-9 encouraged us to have faith in Jesus who has hope for all sinners. Jesus rebukes us to ìGet up!î and through his words, he restores us and changes us. Shp. Jeremy Hajek, shared a powerful message on† John 19: 16-37, in which we were able to see that Jesus died for our sins so that ìit†is finished,î through his blood and sacrifice.†The last message by Msn. Gideon Bahn on John 20: 19-31 was on the resurrection of Jesus and how we should not live in fear and doubt, but in faith and victory, as Jesus died for our sins. It is only through Jesus that we have peace and joy when we believe and accept the Holy Spirit. God truly blessed our bible school from the beginning to the end. His word moved our hearts and gave us peace. God blessed us with more than 15 new students from Dupage campuses and with†11 graceful life testimonies by Alisa,† Jenny, Olivia, Nathan,†Jon, Rachael, Hector, James, Rob, Jessica, and S. Joshua Lee from SNU III, Korea. He blessed us with wonderful music by our vocal team. We thank and praise God for his death and resurrection. It is through his sacrifice we are freed from sin and renewed to live victorious and serve campus mission. We could see at the end of the fourth day that God has filled each one of us with joy and his spirit. We pray that his spirit may continue to be in our hearts and the hearts of the young students and that our new students may grow faithfully in his love and word.

On March 2~3, 2009, Dupage ministry was blessed with a visit from Dr. Peter Chang and Sh. Stefan Elsholz. They stayed at our Bible house. Next day at morning prayer meeting Sh. Stefan Elsholz shared his graceful testimony. After visiting the Billy Graham Museum at Wheaton Collge, we had good lunch time and prayed for the European Bible Conference. 15. Msn Abraham K. Lee Visit

On January 26th, 2009, Dupage ministry was blessed with a visit from Msn Abraham K. Lee. He prayed for our ministry. Then took a photo with with prayer mothers in Dupage ministry. By the grace of God and by his favor, he sent Msn Susanna Chung from SNU3 to America on Tuesday December 9th to Dupage UBF, to establish one house church with Shp. Jeremy Hajek.
